Our mission

Accessory dwelling unit rules differ block by block, city by city - every Twin Cities metro city writes its own zoning code, and many have changed significantly in the past few years. Homeowners shouldn't need a law degree to figure out whether they can add an ADU to their property.

We built Twin Cities ADU to put that information in one place, in plain language, and to connect homeowners who are ready to move forward with local contractors who know the local codes inside and out.
